The Kongoni Network is a community-based education, empowerment, recreation and resource network working to expand opportunities for children, young people, teachers and communities through access to education, technology, reading, mentorship, mathematics, sports and practical skills.

The Network has evolved from the Kongoni Community Library into a wider learning and leadership hub platform supporting programmes both within the library and across partner schools. Therefore the Kongoni Community Library serves as an important hub for learning, reading, computer access, meetings, training, mentorship and holiday programmes. Its facilities include a library and a computer room, reading spaces, a multipurpose meeting facility, and accommodation for facilitators and volunteers.

The Network's approach is based on the belief that meaningful educational development requires more than classroom instruction. Through its programmes, Kongoni Network seeks to provide learners with opportunities to connect, learn, practice, compete, create, lead and give back.
